Hi, I am Nadia.
I’m a licensed psychoanalyst in New York State, with a background in clinical psychology and neuroscience with a decade of training.
I grew up in Port Jefferson, New York, spending summers on the water. I later earned my Master’s degree from Columbia University and completed my psychoanalytic training at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP) in NYC.
Many people come to me feeling stuck in patterns they can’t quite explain. I don’t see those patterns as something to quickly fix. They make sense, even if they don’t feel that way yet.
My work starts from the belief that anxiety, depression, or feeling emotionally blocked or stuck are not just problems to manage, but meaningful signals pointing to something deeper. Rather than rushing to fix and quiet symptoms, we slow down and get curious about them. Together, we cultivate a relationship for those patterns to unfold so they can be understood and worked through and not pushed aside.
I offer a safe place where your thoughts, dreams, and your deepest layers can be explored freely. Nothing is off limits.
Why our work is different.
The way we work matters. I’m active, engaged, and real with you. I think of therapy as something we build together - collaborative, honest, and grounded in a relationship that feels warm enough to explore what’s usually left unsaid.
the work happens in the space we create.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a big reader and a true foodie—I love to cook, to eat, and to linger over both. I am happy being near the water, but I also love exploring the city in search of unique food spots, vintage finds, and new experiences—whether that’s trying a tucked-away restaurant, taking a dumpling-making class, or discovering something I’ve never done before. I’m drawn to live music, traveling new places, and moments that make life feel more vibrant.
I’m an open book when it’s helpful, because I believe therapy works best when it feels human, not clinical.
Outside the work.
